National Eye Health & Falls Awareness Week

Vision Support the regional charity for people with sight loss have been raising awareness for National Eye Health Week 13th –19th and Falls Awareness Week Monday 20th – 24th June 2011.

Both awareness weeks highlight  the importance of good eye health and reinforces the need for regular sight tests. Here at Vision Support we would like to see more adults and children having regular eye tests and want to encourage especially people in later life to find out more about the link between vision and falls and how to reduce the risk of a fall:
