Grow your Way to Five a Day

Vision Support are helping people who are blind or partially sighted to grow their way to five a day with an allotment on Prices Lane in Wrexham.

This fantastic project is bringing people together to both enjoy gardening but and take their crops home to add to a healthy diet.  We had a lot of fun last year in our first season and this project also allows people with sight loss to enjoy the social aspect of an allotment as well as the healthy benefits that gardening offers.Prices Lane Allotment

We are looking for some help to maintain the plot and assist our gardeners so if anyone can provide an hour or two a month please get in touch with Nicky Stevens at Vision Support’s North Wales Regional Office on 01978 269400.
