North Wales Resource Centre

Our resource centre at Morfa Hall in Rhyl is situated close to the White Rose shopping centre and the Library and has ample car parking nearby.

The trained staff and volunteers at the centre are happy to demonstrate the wide range of specialist equipment available from items such as talking clocks and watches at less than £20.00 to the more expensive electronic magnifiers.  We can also advise you on the services available, both locally and nationally, for people living with the effects of sight loss.  Examples of these services include talking newspapers and books, disabled railcards and social groups.

Our monthly audio book club is a good place for a chat and a cuppa where you can meet up with old friends and maybe make some new ones.  Held on the last Wednesday of every month at 11.30am we would welcome new members so why not pop in and join us at this informal and friendly group.

The NorthWales Resource Centre offers the following services from our fully trained staff and volunteers.

  • A display of equipment designed for the vision impaired
  • Friendly advice and Information.
  • IT lessons
  • Social Clubs and Groups
  • Volunteering Opportunities
